[DUKE ENERGY] 석탄재시설 인접 가정 위해 새로운 워터라인 및 여과시스템 공급

노스캐롤라이나주 환경품질부에 따르면 듀크에너지(DUKE ENERGY)는 석탄재저장채취장 근처에 거주하는 1천 가구를 위한 새로운 워터라인 또는 여과시스템에 값을 지불할 예정이다.

해당 주에서 석탄재를 저장하는 시설의 반 마일 내에 있는 마시는 샘의 소유주는 새로운 법이 듀크에너지가 각각의 가정을 위한 새로운 워터라인 또는 여과시스템에 값을 치르기를 필요로 한다고 이번주에 알렸다.

듀크는 올해 새로운 물공급을 위한 계획을 제출해야 하며 늦어도 2018년까지는 작업을 완료해야 한다.

DUKE ENERGY TO PAY FOR NEW WATER LINES OR FILTRATION SYSTEMS FOR HOMES NEAR COAL ASH STORAGE PITS

Duke Energy will pay for new water lines or filtration systems for 1,000 households near coal ash storage pits, according to the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality.

Owners of drinking wells within a half-mile of facilities that store coal ash in the state were alerted this week that a new law would require Duke Energy to pay for a new water line or filtration system for each home.

Duke must submit plans for the new water supplies this year and complete the work no later than late 2018.
