[H2O Innovation] 690만 달러 새 계약 수주
퀘벡(Quebec) 기반 기업 H2O 이노베이션(H2O Innovation)이 지난 9월 30일까지 총 세 달간 캐나다와 미국에서 총 690만 달러 가치에 달하는 일곱 개의 계약을 확보했다.
하루당 약 216㎥을 생산하는 식수 시스템과 폐수처리 시스템이 계약에 포함되어 있으며, 이로 인해 캐나다 북부 누나부트준주(Nunavut) 지역의 광산 노동자들에게 물을 공급할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다. 폐수 시스템은 컨테이너로 수송되는 MBR 공정을 사용하며, 향상된 생물학적 공정과 수중 멤브레인을 활용한다.
캐나다에서 두 번째로 큰 계약은 하루당 약 3천㎥의 식수를 생산해 내는 정밀여과 시스템으로 앨버타(Alberta) 지역 정유기업의 나노여과 공장에 스팀 동력기를 공급해 이를 전처리하는 데 사용할 계획이다.
남아있는 다섯 개의 계약은 지자체 및 관련 산업 고객에 의한 것으로 알려졌다.
퀘벡에서의 두 개의 계약은 하루당 약 1천800㎥의 식수를 디즈레일리(Disraeli) 타운에 생산하고 라 로망(La Romaine) 지역의 3개의 수력 발전소 근로자들에게 식수를 공급하는 주문 제작형 수처리 시스템을 포함한다.
또 온타리오(Ontario)에서는 Slate Falls First Nation 지역에 식수 시스템을 공급하겠다는 계약을 확보했으며, 미국에서는 셔번(Sherburn), 미네소타(Minnesota) 지역에 하루당 954㎥의 식수를 생산하는 수처리 시스템 계약과 미국 중서부 대학에 공급될 시스템 계약이 남아있다.

H2O Innovation secures new contracts worth $6.9 million
Quebec-based H2O Innovation has secured seven contracts in Canada and the US worth a combined $6.9 million during the three months to September 30, 2016.
They include a potable water system and wastewater treatment system, each of 216 m3/d, to supply workers at mines in Nunavut, northern Canada. The wastewater system will use a containerised membrane bioreactor process, combining advanced biological processes and submerged membranes.
The second big contract in Canada is for an ultrafiltration system producing 3,000 m3/d of potable water to feed a steam generator and act as pre-treatment to a nano-filtration plant, for an oil company in Alberta. The system will be delivered in skid mounted buildings.
The remaining five contracts comprise a mixture of municipal and industrial clients.
Two contracts in Quebec cover a system to produce 1,800 m3/d of drinking water for the town of Disraeli, and a custom-built water treatment system to supply drinking water for employees of La Romaine 3 hydroelectric power plant.
In Ontario, H2O Innovation secured a contract to supply a drinking water system for the municipality of Slate Falls First Nation.
In the US, there are deals for a water treatment system producing 954 m3/d of drinking water for the municipality of Sherburn, Minnesota, and a system to supply a mid-west university.
