[이탈리아] DE NORA, 프로젝트 따내며 유럽서 성장세 이어가
코페이 그룹(Coffey Group)의 상하수 도급업자인 코페이 워터(Coffey Water)사는 이탈리아 물기술 회사인 디 노라(De Nora)사의 여과 암거 기술을 선택했다.
이 기술은 두 개의 식수 플랜트에 사용될 예정이다. 하나는 오웬테스크나(Owenteskna)에서 건설 중에 있으며 다른 하나인 킬키트(Kilkit)에 있는 기존 시설은 450만 유로 규모로 업그레이드 중에 있다.
디 노라의 LP 블록은 코페이 워터의 작업에 사용될 것이다. 코페이 워터는 디 노라의 기술이 여과 암거로써 매우 효과적일 뿐만 아니라 "순차적으로 또는 동시에 역류하는 공기와 물의 우수한 분배"를 제공한다고 말했다.
디 노라가 세번 트렌트 서비스(Severn Trent Services)의 인수로 세계 물시장에서 화제가 된 것은 2015년 7월이었다.
디 노라는 전극 기술과 수지원 기술, 두 가지 주요 분야를 운영한다.

DE NORA CONTINUES EUROPEAN EXPANSION WITH IRELAND PROJECT WIN
Water and wastewater contractor Coffey Water, part of the Coffey Group, has selected filter underdrain technology from Italian water technology company De Nora.
The provided technology will be used at two drinking water plants: one under construction at Owenteskna and the other an existing facility at Kilkit, which is undergoing a €4.5 million upgrade.
The contract follows De Nora securing achieving approved contractor status with Guernsey Water (read story).
De Nora’s LP Blocks will be used for the Coffey Water work, which the company said are not only highly-effective as a filter underdrain but they also offer “superior distribution of both backwash air and water, either sequentially or concurrently”.
It was in July 2015 when De Nora made headlines in the global water market with the acquisition of Severn Trent Services.
De Nora operates two principal divisions: electrode technologies and water technologies.
Earlier this year the company attracted investment from asset management company the Blackstone Group.
