[미국] 마이크로닉스, 채터누가에 새로운 여과 매체 시설 개설
마이크로닉스 엔지니어드 필터레시선 그룹(Micronics Engineered Filtration Group)은 액체 및 건식 여과를 위해 미국 테네시 주 채터누가(Chattanooga)에 새로운 전용 필터 미디어 시설을 개설했다.
미국의 섬유 제조 허브에 위치한 5만6천 평방피트(sqft) 규모의 새로운 제조 시설은 고객의 필터 프레스 및 백 하우스 요구에 맞는 맞춤형 여과 솔루션에 중점을 두고 있다.
이전에 뉴햄프셔(New Hampshire)주 포츠머스(Portsmouth)에 있었던 Micronics의 필터 천 제조 작업은 새로운 Chattanooga 설비로 옮겨졌으며 다양한 압연 제품 목록, 업계 최고의 레이저 커터, 용접 HPR 넥크 작업, 모서리 씰링 및 숙련된 봉제인력 등 광범하게 포함되어 있다.
Micronics의 전액 출자 자회사 인 서든 필터 미디아(Southern Filter Media)는 테네시 근처의 Hixson(힉슨)에 오랫동안 거주해 왔다. Southern Filter Media 사업 또한 새로운 Micronics Engineered Filtration Group 시설로 이전되었다.
Micronics Engineered Filtration Group의 사장 겸 CEO인 버니 포크너(Bernie Faulkner)는 "Micronics는 테네시와 솔틸로(Saltillo)에 있는 필터 미디어 시설의 생산 능력을 증대시키는 데 수년 동안 많은 투자를 해왔다"면서 "미국, 캐나다, 라틴 아메리카, 영국, 유럽 또는 세계의 다른 지역들과 협력할 수 있게 되었다"라고 말했다.
Chattanooga에 있는 Micronics의 새로운 공장은 미국 뉴햄프셔의 도버(Dover)에 있는 회사의 기존 제조 시설을 보완한다.
Micronics Engineered Filtration Group(Micronics Filtration Holdings Inc)은 AeroPulse 브랜드의 APC 장비와 함께 Micronics Inc, Southern Filter Media LLC, CP Environmental LLC 및 United Process Control Inc를 포함한다.
Micronics의 필터 미디어 제품이 제공하는 고객 산업은 광업 및 광물 가공, 철강, 전력, 시멘트, 석회, 아스팔트, 화학, 표면·금속 마감, 상업용 세탁, 식품, 안료 등을 포함한다.

Micronics opens new filtration media facility in Chattanooga
The Micronics Engineered Filtration Group has opened a new dedicated filter media facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA for liquid and dry filtration.
Located within the textile manufacturing hub of the United States, the new 56,000 sq ft manufacturing facility is focused on custom filtration solutions for customers’ filter press and baghouse needs.
Micronics’ filter cloth manufacturing operation, which was previously located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, has relocated to the new Chattanooga facility and includes an extensive inventory of rolled goods, several industry-leading laser cutters, welded HPR neck operations, edge sealing, and an experienced sewing staff.
Southern Filter Media, a wholly owned subsidiary of Micronics, has long-resided in nearby Hixson, Tennessee. The Southern Filter Media business has also relocated to the new Micronics Engineered Filtration Group facility.
“Micronics has been investing significantly over the years in increasing the production capacity of our filter media facilities in Tennessee and in Saltillo, Mexico to ensure that we have the ability to superbly support increased demand for our high-quality filtration products whether in the USA, Canada, Latin America, the UK, Europe, or other parts of the world,” said Bernie Faulkner, president and CEO of the Micronics Engineered Filtration Group.
Micronics’ new plant in Chattanooga complements the company’s existing manufacturing facilities in Dover, New Hampshire, USA; Saltillo, Mexico; and the UK.
The Micronics Engineered Filtration Group (Micronics Filtration Holdings Inc) includes Micronics Inc, Southern Filter Media LLC, CP Environmental LLC and United Process Control Inc, along with the AeroPulse brand of APC equipment.
Customer industries served by Micronics’ filter media products include mining & mineral processing, steel, power, cement, lime, asphalt, chemicals, surface/metal finishing, commercial laundry, food, pigments, frac sand and woodworking.
