캐나다 몬트리얼 소재의 프로셉(ProSep)사는 아르헨티나, 슬로바키아 및 미국 남부 고객을 대상으로 MAX+ ProSalt 믹서의 설치 및 판매 성공을 발표하여 자사의 기술이 정유소, 중류 및 업스트림(upstream) 환경에 구축되도록 보장하고 있다.

MAX+ 혼합기는 조잡한 담수화를 위한 공정 유량에 관계없이 균질하고 고효율의 혼합을 제공하므로, 보다 나은 분포, 적당한 전단력 및 에멀젼 회피가 가능하여 화학적 및 세척수 소비량을 감소시킨다.

이 균질 분포는 MAX+ 혼합기를 기존 혼합 밸브와 구별하여 세수가 안정적이고 조류가 분리 성능에 영향을 미칠 수 있다.

ProSep의 대표인 메슈 곤두루(Maesh Konduru)는 "정제, 중류 또는 상류와 관계없이 혼합기는 전통적인 혼합 기술에 비해 주입량을 줄이고 이질적인 유체의 분리를 개선함으로써 효율적인 세척수 사용을 보장한다"고 말했다.

ProSep’s MAX+ProSalt mixer has global reach

ProSep has announced the successful installation and sales of its MAX+ ProSalt mixers to clients in Argentina, Slovakia and the southern US, ensuring that its technology is deployed in the refinery, midstream, and upstream environments.

The MAX+ mixer provides homogeneous, high efficiency mixing, regardless of the process flow rate for crude desalting, resulting in better distribution, moderate shear forces and emulsion avoidance and so reducing chemical and wash water consumption. 

This homogeneous distribution differentiates the MAX+ mixer from conventional mixing valves, which can result in stable emulsions of wash water and crude impacting the separation performance.

Mahesh Konduru, ProSep’s chief executive, said: “Regardless of environment - refinery, midstream or upstream - the mixer ensures efficient wash water utilisation by reducing injection volumes and improving separation of disparate fluids, when compared to traditional mixing technologies.”
