[스위스] ABB, 지속가능 스마트 물관리 추진 박차 덴마크 DHI그룹과 차세대 스마트 물관리 솔루션 개발 협력 파트너십 체결 물 가용성 최적화하는 새로운 디지털 솔루션 제품군…2022년 공식 발표 예정
ABB가 지속가능한 스마트 물관리 추진에 박차를 가한다. ABB는 지난 10월 29일 이탈리아 제노바(Genoa)에서 덴마크 물환경 전문기업 DHI그룹과 차세대 디지털 물관리 솔루션 제품군을 공동 개발하기 위한 파트너십을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
ABB에 따르면 양 기업은 해당 솔루션은 상하수도 시설에서 더 빠르고 정확한 의사결정을 내리고, 고객이 공정 및 에너지 최적화 관점에서 물의 가용성을 더 잘 제어해 플랜트 운영의 효율성을 개선하는 것이 목표다. 2022년 공식 발표 예정이다.

ABB 에너지 인더스트리(ABB Energy Industries)의 다닐로 모레스코(Danilo Moresco) 전력 및 물 사업부 책임자는 “이 협력을 통해 우리는 너무 오랫동안 당연하게 여겼던 자원인 물을 보다 신중하게 사용하고자 한다. 필요할 때 적절한 양의 물을 사용하고 물이 다시 순환할 때 안전하고 깨끗한지 확인하는 것은 물이용에 대한 지속가능한 접근 방식을 보장하는 데 필수적이다”라고 말했다.
모레스코 책임자는 이어 “솔루션 제공업체로서 우리는 보다 지속 가능한 비즈니스에 우리의 기술을 제공할 책임이 있다”면서 “수역 분야에서 DHI와의 파트너십은 그 방향으로의 큰 진전을 의미한다”고 덧붙였다.
DHI의 메테 베스터가드(Mette Vestergaard) 최고경영자(CEO)는 “DHI는 지구에 지속 가능한 공급을 보장하기 위해 물을 사용하고 생활할 수 있는 새롭고 혁신적인 방법을 찾는 데 전념하고 있다. ABB의 고유한 전문성은 DHI의 도메인 지식(domain knowledge) 및 디지털 노하우와 완벽하게 들어맞는다”면서 “ABB와 함께 물을 절약하고 상하수도 처리 관리에 상당한 이점을 가져다 줄 새로운 솔루션을 개발하게 된 것을 매우 자랑스럽게 생각한다”고 말했다.
플랜트 데이터의 실시간 수집·분석은 물론, 디지털트윈 모델 및 최적화 애플리케이션을 통해 ABB와 DHI는 디지털 솔루션의 통합 생태계를 위한 기반을 마련하고 있다.

ABB and DHI Group join forces to create smarter, more sustainable water management solutions

Together, ABB and DHI will develop a suite of digital solutions to enable faster and more accurate decision making for water and wastewater utilities. These solutions will empower customers in this segment to better control water availability and improve plant operational efficiency from both a process and energy optimization perspective.
“Through this collaboration, we want to facilitate a more mindful use of water, a resource we have taken for granted for far too long. Using just the right amount of water when it’s needed and ensuring it is safe and clean when it re-enters the cycle is essential to ensuring a sustainable approach to water usage,” said Danilo Moresco, Head of Power & Water businesses at ABB Energy Industries.

The agreement was signed in Genoa, Italy, where both companies hold strong water-related competence centers.
