[독일] AUMA, 두바이에 서비스센터 개설
독일의 전동 액추에이터 제조업체인 AUMA가 두바이(Dubai)에 판매 및 서비스 센터를 개설하여 걸프 지역의 입지 강화에 나섰다.
제밸 알리(Jebel Ali) 자유무역지대에 위치한 새로운 AUMA 중동 FZE사무소는 아랍에미리트(UAE), 오만 및 북아프리카에서 모든 AUMA 활동의 허브가 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
두바이 사무소는 2008년에 설립된 바레인의 AUMA Actuators Middle East 자회사와 제휴 관계에 있다.
바레인 사무소는 바레인, 사우디 아라비아, 카타르 및 쿠웨이트의 고객 및 대리인을 계속 지원할 것이며 지역 교육 센터로도 활동할 것이다.
AUMA의 두바이에 있는 새로운 판매 및 서비스센터는 사무소, 밸브 통합을 위한 워크샵, 교육시설 및 MENA 지역의 중앙 예비 부품 창고시설 등으로 구성되어 있다. 이 팀에는 이전에 AUMA의 바레인 사무소에서 근무한 경험 많은 AUMA 전문가가 포함되어 있다.
AUMA는 해수담수화, 수처리, 발전, 석유 및 가스 생산, 저장 및 가공을 위한 플랜트를 포함한 광범위한 주요 프로젝트에 제품을 공급하고 있다.
AUMA의 매니저인 나가라지 셰티(Nagaraj Shetty)는 "우수한 인프라로 두바이는 에미레이트 항공과 오만에 대규모로 설치된 기지를 관리하기에 이상적인 곳이다. 사무실이 자유무역 지대에 있기 때문에 상품의 출하가 훨씬 쉽다. 우리는 고객에게 액추에이터 및 예비 부품을 신속하게 제공할 수 있다. 우리는 고객과 훨씬 더 가까워 두바이에 사무소를 두고있는 밸브 제조업체, 컨설턴트 및 EPC 계약자에게 보다 포괄적인 지원을 제공할 수 있다"고 말했다.

Auma opens Dubai service centre to support Gulf growth
DUBAI, UAE - Electric actuator manufacturer AUMA has opened a Sales and Service Centre in Dubai to help strengthen its presence in the Gulf Region.
Located in the Jebel Ali free trade zone, the new AUMA Middle East FZE office will become the hub for all AUMA’s activities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Oman and North Africa.
The Dubai office is affiliated to the AUMA Actuators Middle East subsidiary in Bahrain, which was founded in 2008.
The Bahrain office will continue to support customers and agents in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Kuwait, and also serves as the regional training centre.
AUMA’s new Sales and Service Center in Dubai comprises modern offices, a workshop for valve integration, training facilities, and the company’s central spare parts stock for the MENA region. The team includes some experienced AUMA experts who previously operated from AUMA’s Bahrain office.
The company has supplied its products to a wide range of major projects including plants for seawater desalination, water treatment, power generation, and oil and gas production, storage and processing.
Nagaraj Shetty, country manager, said: “With its excellent infrastructure, Dubai is the ideal location for us to take care of our large installed base in the Emirates and Oman. As the office is in a free trade zone, shipment of goods is much easier; we can very quickly deliver actuators and spare parts to customer sites. And we are much closer to our customers, we can provide even more comprehensive support to valve makers, consultants and EPC contractors who all have offices in Dubai.”
