[캐나다] Fil-Trek, ‘NSF/ANSI 61’ 인증 발표

캐나다 산업 여과장비 제조업체인 필트렉 코퍼레이션(Fil-Trek Corporation)은 수직 및 수평 카트리지 필터 하우징, 백 필터 하우징 및 여과기에 대한 ‘NSF/ANSI 61’ 인증을 받았다..

‘NSF/ANSI 61’은 식수 시스템을 포함하는 수계 구성 요소에 대한 엄격한 기준을 설정한다. ‘NSF-61’은 미국위생협회인 NSF(National Sanitation Foundation)와 미국의 제조 및 절차 표준 개발을 총괄하는 미국 국립표준협회(ANSI)에 의해 개발되었다. 

미국의 48개 주와 캐나다의 11개 주에서는 음용수 시스템 부품이 ‘NSF/ANSI 61’을 준수해야 한다. 

마케팅 매니저인 사라 핀커톤(Sarah Pinkerton)은 ‘NSF/ANSI 61’ 인증을 승인한 직후 Fil-Trek은 여러가지 다른 요청과 함께 캘리포니아 시립 수도시설에 대한 대규모 계약을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 그녀는 “Fil-Trek이이 인증을 받은 극소수의 북미 여과 장비 제조업체 중 하나다”라고 덧붙였다.

Fil-Trek announces NSF/ANSI 61 accreditation

Fil-Trek’s GL Series universal cartridge housing is one of the products now certified to NSF/ANSI 61.

Canadian industrial filtration equipment manufacturer, the Fil-Trek Corporation has received NSF/ANSI 61 accreditation for its vertical and horizontal cartridge filter housings, bag filter housings and strainers.

NSF/ANSI 61 sets stringent criteria for water system components that involve drinking water systems. NSF-61 was developed by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF), a global independent public health and environmental organisation, and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) which oversees the consensus for developing standards for manufacturing and procedures in the US.

Forty-eight US states and eleven Canadian provinces require that drinking water system components comply with NSF/ANSI 61.

Sarah Pinkerton, marketing manager, said that immediately following the approval of NSF/ANSI 61 certification, Fil-Trek received a large contract for a California municipal water facility along with numerous other requests for quotes. She added that Fil-Trek is one of very few North American filtration equipment manufacturers that has this certification.
