물기술 기업인 A. O. 스미스(A. O. Smith Corporation)는 지난 3월 6일 캘리포니아 소재 수처리 기업인 임팩트 워터 프로덕츠(Impact Water Products)를 인수했다고 밝혔다.

임팩트 워터 프로덕츠 외에도 A. O. 스미스는 2023년 워터 텍(Water Tec), 2022년 아틀랜틱 필터(Atlantic Filter), 2021년 마스터 워터 코퍼레이션(Master Water Corporation), 2019년 워터 라이트 그룹(Water-Right Group), 2017년 헤이그 퀄리티 워터(Hague Qu0ality Water) 및 2016년 아쿠아사나(Aquasana)를 인수한 바 있으며, 이를 통해 북미 수처리 사업 영역을 확장하고 있다.

주디 관(Judy Guan), 앨런 호너(Allan Horner), 제리 호너(Jerry Horner) 및 빅터 추(Victor Chu)로 구성된 현재 관리 팀은 조직에 남아 캘리포니아 온타리오 사무실에서 계속 운영될 것이다.

A. O. Smith Acquires Impact Water Products, a Water Treatment Solutions Provider, to Expand West Coast Presence

Water technology company A. O. Smith Corporation (NYSE: AOS) announced today it acquired Impact Water Products, a California-based water treatment company, in an all-cash transaction. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Impact Water Products joins other  A. O. Smith acquisitions, Water Tec (2023), Atlantic Filter (2022), Master Water Corporation (2021), Water-Right Group (2019), Hague Quality Water (2017), and Aquasana (2016) in the company’s growing North America Water Treatment business. 

"The acquisition of Impact Water Products further supports our growth strategy by expanding the West Coast presence of our water treatment business. A. O. Smith delivers innovative, differentiated solutions that heat and treat water, and Impact Water Products aligns perfectly with our values and commitment to quality," said Kevin J. Wheeler, chairman, president and chief executive officer.

Established in 2014, the company is based in Ontario, California, and is a manufacturer and dealer of water treatment equipment for residential and commercial use.
